Robert Duvall is severely underrated, IMO. I know, I know…the Acadamy Awards are not gospel, however, this man has been nominated for 7 Oscars, and only won 1 of them. I’m not saying the Harry Hogge character was award worthy, but every movie Duvall is in is better, in part, because he’s in it.

Caddyshack is a great movie. However, does caddyshack make many tear up because it pulls on your heartstrings? No. Sandlot captures the heart of the American boy and deserves this.

You don't tear up everytime Danny sinks that last putt or Maggie finds out she's not pregnant???

OK, here is one for you. Moneyball (one of my favorites) is currently upsetting #3 ( A League of Their Own) 42-37. Moneyball is a solid movie, it’s however not historically accurate which to me knocks it way down the list of sports movies.
