I agree. as a marketing genius, if I was In charge of marketing this site, I could probably double user accounts within the year. How is it not a requirement to be a member of CF if you're a student at ISU. It should be like, "there's the laundry room, here's your lanyard, here's instructions of setting up an account on CF"
Fanatics, the idea of having a large-scale Cyclone Alley flop in response to Marcus Smarts..ehem..abilities, has been tossed around here for awhile. I don't expect the CAC to go the extra mile and get this thing organized, so I'm doing what I can.
With that said, I've created an event on Facebook which you can find in the link below. If you're a student heading to the game, please join and pass it along to other friends/students that you know might be there. And if you're not a student go ahead and post the event for any friends of yours that are students and might be going.
Obviously more to do than just create a Facebook group, but its a start.

If you want I can print off a 44" by 30" poster with instructions to hold up or a web address that people can look up, possibly even a QR Code for people to scan and get the instructions.
It just so happens that @cyclonealley has a twitter account. I just followed them, so we'll see if they tweet it out. If they don't by the okie state game, I'm unfollowing.
I'd really appreciate that. I was also thinking about making a couple of simple signs with marker for people to hold on each side. Something simple like "FLOP/FALL OVER". I guess I'm not 100% sure how much the signs need to say. Like if they need to include instructions or be more specific. What do you guys think?
Also, my whole group sits on the non-band side where the opposing team runs out. If there are some students here that sit on the band-side who would be willing to hold up one of these signs that'd be great.
The ONLY negative I can see is people worried about injuries.
But I'm still all for it. People need to make sure they're selling the flop too with massive overacting.
If they ignore it then I see no reason they exist. This is the type of stuff they should be doing.I posted something on their facebook wall as well, so we'll see. Wouldn't hurt for them to help raise awareness. Not sure if they'll feel like I'm stepping on their toes but I don't really care.
They have to exude sportsmanshipMajor kudos CynadoAlley for taking the lead on this. I'm not a big basher of the CAC but if they can't be counted on to arrange and execute things like this, then honestly, what on earth is the point of them?
I like the idea of using the band to spread the word on this. Maybe even just have someone run up and down the stairs telling people to flop when Smart is introduced.
