As most of you on this site are fans of the Cyclones... i'd like to wonder what things you wish Cy would do at events (Bball or Football)

Please post.

I would like to see Cy take the Neil Diamond CD out and break it, then burn it, then spread the ashes in Lake Lavern never to be heard again.

I am one of the guys on the Mascot squad so it would be interesting to hear from the fans about things we might of done that you'd like to see again, want to try and attempt, or just post about your favorite "Cy" moments.

Please post.

Thats alright, I'll bring extras...

I'd like to see some pre-taped Cy sketches, like they had for Cy's house of trivia... Also, Cy needs a female counterpart, like Al and Alberta for the Gators...

Cy is a dude and I'm pretty sure he is technically already topless....

and also the Neil Diamond CD break idea I'll take into consideration

Well what I meant was to have Cy initiate topless cheerleading jumping-jacks...I think the fan base would appreciate it.

I also recall a few years ago that there was a female who played Cy occasionally...

I like it when CY does the worm haha...I know one of the Cy "dudes" also and it's always fun giving him a hard time.

Go out in pre-game and take a steel folding chair to JJ's body during the pre-game chants and then give him the people's elbow to top it off! :biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh:

I didn't know Cy works with an SEM...

I'm trying to find it... we used to have a female counter part to Cy which died a merciful death...

As it was put in the info I read, "Some traditions were ment to die"

I remember now... Susie Snapper Hawk >_<

I'd like to see Cy bring out the ol cardboard platform and throw down some serious break dancing...maybe some spinning on a top hat or something...

I guess on a side note Susie Snapper Hawk was a U of I mascot, so of course that marraige failed. What the **** were they smoking back in '66?

And could some of you could shed some light on "Cy" and "Clone" for me? I hadn't heard of that one before but thats not all that old I guess so... from what I saw he was just the transition to the current Cy... a more moble costume rather than the stiff suit he used to be?

how about climb up on top of the video board with a big *** cyclone flag, or how about a separate Cy tunnel walk on the video screen before the band takes the field pregame.

My advice is seek out the kids! I have a 3-year old little girl and we get the $99 basketball season tickets. It’s our one Daddy/Daughter event I hope we do all the way until she goes to college (and plays for Bill Fennelly). Cy is her favorite part about going to the basketball games! She is convinced that there is a bird’s nest on top of the scoreboard and that Cy even helps Santa deliver Christmas presents. If I’m seen crying during a basketball game it’s because of the expression on my little girl’s face when she’s shaking Cy’s hand (or because we still don’t have 30 points by the 10-minute mark of the 2nd half – either way you’ll see my crying).
