Thought it was pretty "meh". I totally get the idea was having a bunch of new eyeballs on your product and trying to make it as entertaining as possible. But I have no idea where the Rock promo is headed. He's clearly not doing the heel thing again and I don't know where it leaves us. Cena's promo was great though.

I thought the Solo/Roman match was kind of anti-climatic at the end for all the buildup.

Liv/Rhea was a fun match but that storyline needs to go. It's run its course.

Drew/Jey-- I totally get they weren't going to have Jey lose on a stage like that, but a loss kind of hurts Drew's return. Just not sure it was a match that needed to be made.

Punk/Rollins was the highlight of the night. Great match and it's open for more.

One interesting item with Netflix is it's going to be a little harder to watch with my youngsters. My 8 year old loves WWE but between the "**** you Solo" chants and Travis Scott coming out with a blunt I got a few sideways glares from the wife...

No going to as PG but now when crowd does a profanity chant during a promo mics won't be muted half the time so you can't hear what they are saying.

They tried to give it a PPV type feel, but it was a little clunky and I don't think it quite lived up to the potential a card like that should have.

It's definitely changed and is way more over the top than it use to be, but watch Ox Baker start a riot in Cleveland back in 74. Not sure you'd see a crowd that bought in these days.

74 is before my time, but

Dusty slapping Baby Doll.
Nikita joining Dusty in the cage vs the Horsemen
Any of the Rock n Roll Express stuff from that era

Those crowds believed it.

Just got back home. What a banger! Everyone seemed really shocked by the ending but was enjoying it so much, especially our kids. Yeet!
My daughter loves Jey and was thrilled. I was shocked it wasn’t Cena when it was down to two but it makes sense. Book Jey with Gunther and don’t tie yourself down too early on the Cody angle like they did last year

Cena didn't look like he was moving all that well. Especially when AJ Styles is the same age.

Is it me or did Rumbles from back in the day have more action? That blue dude took at least a 20 minute nap in the corner. So many times when everyone was just laying there.

Think in his last year along with getting a win or two he is finally going to pass the torch to the next generation.

Edit. I think they will have Jey win at Mania.

I'm so happy for Jey. This rise has come fast but guy has paid his dues. Hard for many associated with a tag team to get this big as a solo star.

Throw myself in the camp of when Usos tagged that Jimmy was the better of the 2. Boy did that take not age well.

Frank Goodish been mentioned on this thread? Got a scholarship for football at ISU before his career in wrestling.

Story Co.
Thought for sure cena was winning when it got down to 2. Glad they went with jey.
I was confident Punk would win because he gets hurt a lot so figured they wouldn't want to wait too long on him. Wasn't thrilled initially when it came down to Cena and Jey but came around quick and was pulling for him. He's got the story going with Gunther and that could and should be a great Mania build. He's also crazy over so why not push him all the way and see if he really is a legit main event guy. A lot of potential angles around Cody so really excited to see where they go with that. Mania should be a good one this year.

With 2 night mania's Punk might still get his main event dream this year. Probably for sure wins Rumble next year.
