go to cyclones.com and look at the 3 stories about "football" on the front page. That tells you all you need to know.

Yea but is that the point of a call in show? To explain rules to people who don't know them? It should be about insight to things within the program, letting questions about the rules of the game is just screening calls for soft balls to throw to let CPR knock them out the park. Explaining simple rules of the game can be done by anyone, you don't need FBS head coaching experience for that.

Are you saying all the hardball questions are getting screened? Well, then maybe you should call in and ask the hard questions.

You are assuming any of these posters harshly criticizing Rhoads actually have the guts to say anything to a man's face. Which is funny because calling in is maybe a small step above typing behind a monitor.

I quit listening to them 20 years ago. Denny and Jerry are still calling every week??? SMH

That's the same thing I was thinking as well. I had season tickets across the aisle from "Denny" before I left for Arkansas. That guy was seriously obnoxious and mouthy. Wasn't very well liked by the people in the seats around him.

Exactly my thoughts.

If CPR has success, many will be first in line at the tailgate tour to get a photo and kiss butt.

I will say, some of the questions that some may think are softball are pretty insightful. He will often share rules that the common fan may not be aware of or explain the philosophy of how we do things.

I don't care for the obvious questions like "It seems our guys aren't tackling right...why is that?"
