This team is going to stink, and not be fun to watch. They are going to fight to win, but are not going to win very many games. Too few guys and not enough talent. TJ will get there, but he has been been dealt less cards than everyone else. It will be interesting to see what they can do.

I think that fans with reasonable expectations already know this, but as long as we're giving maximum effort with crashing the boards, racking up floor burns, etc., I will consider them "fun" to watch, even if the W/L record isn't much to brag about.

Last season at Texas Tech we had a student manager draw a charge against us; not an end of the bench walk-on, a f*ckin' student manager. That's got to be the low point of modern day Iowa State basketball. Avoiding that this season will be fun to watch.

Brockington and Kalschear are both solid tranfers. And Bill Self didn't recruit Enaruna because he liked his name. Having Foster and Hinson do what they did doesn't help......but this team isn't void of players.

It is going to be ugly for most of the games, and I have no problem with that. Last year it just looked like guys, including the coach didn't care. I want that back for ISU. The guys you listed have some talent, but it just isn't going to be enough. Especially later in the season when they start getting beat up a little.

I don't think the team will be good. But I do think it will be interesting if not always the most fun. I'm actually looking forward to next week's game a lot. I'm not even sure what we can glean from this year. If the guys seem united and play hard I'll appreciate them and what they are doing for us.

This team will likely win a couple games they shouldn't because of their effort. They also might lose one that they shouldn't because they are struggling to make shots. It was nice to hear that Scotty said the team really got after it on defense when he visited the team in practice.

I think the backcourt is solid with a Top 50 pg and 2 players who have been on NCAA tourney teams. I think once we get into Big 12 play we'll get abused in the frontcourt.

TJ made it sound like Conditt wasn't even a sure starter over Jones. Thats not a good sign at all. If this team wants to compete at all in the Big 12 Conditt and Enuruna need to be serviceable or its going to be really ugly.

Another thing I thought was weird is it sounds like Kunc has been hurt most of camp. So how is it Hinson lost his spot to a guy who hasn't practiced alot?
