Slated to start by whom? No one with any knowledge of this year's KU basketball team. When a kid comes out and states "We have many good guards and so many big-time players. I want to be at a place where I could play a bigger role" then I am pretty confident that he wasn't slated to start at preseason #5 Kansas. One would assume that starting PG for a top five Kansas team would count as a big role. He came out of preseason practice as the third string PG behind Graham and Mason and third string SG behind Selden and Mykhailiuk.
