boblutz @boblutz · 9m 9 minutes ago @CFrankamp_23 announces he's going to Wichita State. Will be eligible second semester of. 2015-16 season.

He'll probably appeal and get a waiver that allows him to play in the tournament this season.

KU probably allowed him to transfer there because they know they will never play them as they are so afraid.
No restrictions were put on his transfer by KU. Hats off to Conner for landing in a good spot. Hope he gets to play more there. Would be ironic if he didn't...

Why waste a road game in a city you already own? WSU won't play unless they get a game in Wichita.

KU has nothing to gain by playing WSU. Even if they played every game in Allen it would not sell any more tickets since they sell out every game anyway, and as far as recruiting goes, if they want the same player as WSU, KU will win every time. Both Self and Roy Williams have said that it is the responsibility of the coach to schedule games that benefit their program, not other programs within the state. There will be a time in the near future when Iowa and Iowa State will not play UNI or Drake, for the same reason.

This is correct. It only benefits WSU. KU schedules exhibition against Fort Hays, Washburn, and Emporia State for the same reason (to help them with their recruiting etc).

As far as Connor goes, good for him. I don't think he was athletic enough to play with other guys on KU roster. He could be a role player, but I don't think he was happy with becoming a role player (like Morningstar and Reed in recent years).

Fear that losing to WSU is:

1. Embarrasing (especially if at home).
2. Could potentially make WSU steal some KU recruits.

If you are the big dog, with the high recruiting class, and playing an opponent which would not negatively affect your RPI, then what is the problem? Spank them and put them in their place. Instead Self is being a ***** about it. Be a man.

There's been possibly 4 top recruits out of Kansas worth the Jayhawks time, off the top of my head, in the past 8 years with Perry Ellis, Willie Cauley-Stein, Semi Ojaleye, Frankamp. None have committed to Wichita State. I will be shocked if they ever lose a top recruit to anyone else in the Sunflower state.
