I saw Gym Class Heroes and The Academy Is... at an impromptu show at Skate West in Des Moines with Fall Out Boy and Midtown in Spring 2005 when they were on their Fueled By Ramen tour. Man I'm old.

Rise Against would be worth it alone.
They were my first "real" concert when I was maybe 16. That was a real eye-opener with mosh pits and crowd surfing but I had a lot of fun.

They were incredible then. No idea how they are now as older dudes though.

Pop punk is one of the worst genres outside of most rap and country (which I abhor). The whiny, nasally voice with the whiny ******* guitars chafes me.

Bought tickets last night for blink show in Chicago. Staying within 20 min walking distance from United Center. Never spent a lot of time in Chicago. How likely am I to get shot, mugged and or stabbed walking to and from the show?

How flexible are you and can you do a barrel roll?

About 10 mins of that will be walking through empty parking lots so as long as you can dodge bullets, you'll be good.

I'm in, but I'm going to need some time to procure a '97 Blazer, a CD burner and a Limewire account and I gotta get the crew back together to scoop the loop a few times before we go.

That's not very punk rock of you to worry about things like that....

LOL. This has to be a collection of my least favorite bands from the 2000's. Not really a big fan of the punk pop genre. Yes there would be a few songs here an d there that I did like. Like someone said earlier, I think 2022 lineup was much better.

I loved most of these bands at some point. Hell, I think I have a Spotify list resembling this lineup somewhere around here . . .

My brother and his friends were into this genre of music. I don't mind some of it, but I always asked my brother why the singers sounded like whiny little *******.

There's a good chance of a stray bullet flying by. Make sure your life insurance is in force and your will is up to date. This very well be the concert of your lifetime.
