So I am currently registered to live in a single room with a shared bathroom this coming semester in Buchanan, and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to arrange the room so that I could have my bed unlofted? -but yet still have a good amount of room? I just really dont think I can stand having my bed being lofted again this year...

Easy fix. Trade bedrooms with me (I'm in Freddy court), and just set up the lofts in the Freddy room as a bunk bed, and take the bottom one. Simple.

you found the right guy.

<---Guy that has lived here in the past.

Are you by yourself in your room.

The rooms in Buchanan are pretty big. You have a air conditioner/heater along a wall. The wall is big enough to put your bed along the same wall. That's what I did.

I guess to answer your question, you will have PLENTY of room, if you are living by yourself. You will have enough room for your bed to be unlofted.

If you don't know for sure if you will be living with a roommate, I'd wait to worry until then. Space can dramatically change because of this.

I'm going on my 4th year of living in Buchanan Hall. I'll be living in a single for the first time this fall. Because of some mild physical disabilities, I've have to always have my bed unlofted. When you get moved in, send me a PM, and I'll help you find a way to unloft your bed, and maximize the space in your room.

Windows, paint, water fixtures, lights, nothing too serious.

And the Buchanan unlofted thing, they are pretty simple to figure out if they are similar lofts to BWR.

With any luck we will be there by Tuesday.

I think the most important thing with Buchanan is to try like hell to get a room on the south side of the building and a good set of binoculars.
