Good Article by Hines thanks for posting. Really points out a good angle on the realities of recruiting to Ames and the need to take calculated chances.
When Prohm came in he said he was aware he needed to look at all avenues to get talent to compete in the B12. Taking the high upside recruit who may need some managing injury or accedemic is a risk worth taking. Actually if you compare it to the use of a scholarship on Brase or Holden types I am not sure it is that high of a cost.
