Only front offices I would have much faith in are the Steelers, Packers, and New England. New England chews thru players but you know you are going to get a crack at the championship.
Is the Packers front office really that good?

I know this goes against every natural instinct in message board posting, but filling your pants on a public forum every time that a major college or pro coaching job is open in the greater Ohio area only hurts CMC staying and the team.

There's a reason he comes out last time rumors started and strongly denied any interest. It's because it harms recruiting when these rumors pop up. The more message boards talk about it the more the Randy Peterson types will feel they need to ask Campbell and write about it. The more that happens the more credence recruits wonder about it.

Do everyone a favor and wait until there is something worth actually talking about before giving a free headline to the DMR for click bate.
After all, according to Herbstreit Campbell is "gone". Remember that before CMC signed an extension? These tweets about short lists and keep an eye ons from journalists are no more informed than my takes on quantum mechanics.

As the op, read the title please.

I said nothing about CMC. Riley's name is all over the possibilities of a Cleveland candidate. If anything this thread should steer speculation in that direction not CMC. I personally have posted that I don't think CMC is going anywhere, at least not anytime soon.

I predict a football coach will get choked within the next two years like Letrell Sprewell choked P.J. Carlesimo.....I will bump this post when it happens.

There’s a reason they’re called the “Browns”. As good as he is, I don’t think even CMC could polish that t**d!

Rodgers makes a lot of bad things look much better.

The NFL is full of mediocrity. Their system of competitive balance (the hard salary cap, reverse draft, free agency, etc.) almost works too well.

Everything feels the same. The games feel like coin flips.

I don't know that, but they don't seem to go through coaches and players as much as some teams. But that could be because they have some good QB's in a row.
I'm a Vikings fan so I'm a bit biased but for how many years they've had extremely good QB play (Favre followed by Rodgers) you'd think they'd have more to show

Good indicator of how a consistent franchise operates:
Green Bay passed over TJ Watt when an improved defense is much needed. Who picked him up? Pittsburgh.

I think MC gets an interview, but I would be surprised if he gets the job. The last 4-months, MC name has been a common name to sports radio in Ohio.

Campbell just mentioned on Holley and Spielman. No mention of Riley. Spielman says Campbell not quite ready.

I hate adding fuel to the fire but it is what it is. I just pray to god he comes out and shoots all this noise straight to hell.

The guy who runs BC has a bartender friend that has customers who are in the know who leak info to him. He had LeBron to LA long before anyone else.

With that said, just because he’s a target doesn’t mean he’ll make the move.

This is old, but I think the lesson is clear...

http://coacheshotseat.com/NFLCoachesSalaries.htm

The Browns could easily double Campbell's salary.

Does he have a Hoiberg clause about a cheaper buyout for the NFL?
They paid Jackson $3.5 million. Isn’t that what CMC is getting now?

Maybe they’re willing to go well past that, but they’ve yet to ever pay top dollar. They aren’t getting a top college coach because of money imo. The top college coaches make just as much as what the Browns are likely to pay. It’ll be a guy willing to make equal money, or even take a pay cut, to coach at the highest level.
