Last I knew, the best place for this was Fremont Street. There's a casino called Golden Gate that we went a few years ago (they're known for having $0.99 shrimp cocktails) that was $3 until about 5:00 p.m., then they went up to $5. It may have raised a bit since then.

Go to the old strip or old downtown. Where they have the lights over the street.

Freemont can be really fun for gambling.
Cheaper bets downtown or otherwise out of the way. Also check off-hours. Some of the big casinos will go down to $5 really late or during the day.

I was at Casino Royale Wed Night. $3 minimums. Just wanted to find some other places that might be similar.

Played for 4 hours on $40....got WASTED on free drinks....tipped the waitresses...dealers....and still walked out up.

I love you Las Vegas.

I hated gambling on Fremont St., I felt like I was surrounded by impending death with all the gamblers on their last legs. The strip has such a better atmosphere.

Bills Gambling Hall is your best bet on the strip. It's the old Barbary Coast. Great location and pretty low minimums. Not sure if they ever go to $3, but they are usually $5 other than during peak times.

Where they love the governor
Casino Royale has the cheapest table minimums on the strip, IIRC. Plus $1 MGD pints at the bar. However, you definitely can tell it's a cheap place to play - last time I was there, the craps table had scotch tape over a tear in the felt and the dealer was working the tear over trying to make it bigger...

My cheapest favorite place used to be the Boardwalk or O'Sheas, not sure if either exist anymore, I think the Boardwalk got blasted a while ago.

Don't worry about the minimums, just look for this guy and you will be set.

We had a BLAST playing $2 craps at the Golden Gate a few years ago. Even with the low minimum there were a few of us up BIG... Until Soccercy showed up. Watch out around him, he's a cooler.

Ended up at the Freemont Casino...don't waste your time in that place. No vibe at all.

The Golden Gate however was tip top.

Go to Stratoshere, not the best casino but the VP of gaming is a huge Cyclone fan. If your wearing your Clone here he will see you and take care of you.
