I talked to him in the can during the Saturday evening social. He did not lead on to anything then and even said he loved where he was at.
I assume we're looking for an answer other than $$$?
I don't even say that as a slam our program. It's dog eat dog and he's one of the highest value free agents out there. It sucks. I had high hopes for the kid but he/we got some tough luck health wise so we never really got to see what he could do at 100%. It's the world we're living in now. We've got talent from 41-65 but he is NOT the one I wanted to lose.

I’m hoping we have Frost brothers at 41 & 49 next year & hopefully Cody still is the 57. AE in there somewhere too.
I said in the other thread, I think we'll be fine with the Frosty's leading the charge for the next couple years.
That said, the timing of this is highly suspicious.
Either:
A) Someone tampered and offered him a bag of money while at the tournament.
OR
B) He wanted to wrestle this year and is having a reaction to Paniro's poor performance.

Most of our guys lose head scratching matches…. maybe something else is the issue??
So we've been told. Or maybe he thought he was healthy enough to give it a go? You don't find it a bit odd that this happens immediately after Paniro ***** the bed?
Not really. Kinda weird that it was official this afternoon but it was rumored earlier than that.
He didn't travel with the team. Rumored to be in the works for quite a while now.
I hate to see him go but we do have a significant log jam from 141-157.
