First, I apologies for my pessimism. I act like a total ***** sometimes, I'll admit that . These refs were awful both ways the whole game. They would heavily favor BYU, and then switch and heavily favor Iowa State. It may have evened out in the end, but even refereeing does not equal good refereeing. Georges was unstoppable on the inside at the end, and it ended up being exactly what we needed. Kinda disappointed with some of our guys though. I know it's not a big deal, but Melvin should know better then to flip off the crowd, and I have no idea what Kane was trying to do when he got tossed, although I don't think it was intentional. I'd rather not have that be what is remember by the BYU crowd, but no point in worrying about that right now I guess. Lastly, just because I know we are going to hear this tomorrow, BYU was not screwed over. They had plenty of time to call a timeout after Edozie hit his last free throw. That's poor coaching on BYU's part in my opinion. Ugly win, we could have played much better then we did, and I would have preferred much better refereeing, but I'll take what we got. It's a rarity we get both a good home and road win in the non conference, and we got one over a should be top 25 team today.
