Would there be any interest in a bus trip to Mizzou on October 15?

The cost would be roughly $160/person, there and back on the same day. This would include game ticket, probably $10 in concession money, maybe a pregame tailgate. The bus would probably have satellite in it to watch games there or on the way back.

Just gauging for some interest...

Having put a few of these sorts of things together over the years, be very skeptical of initial expressions of interest. If you go forward with the trip, substantial deposits are much more reliable indicators of true interest.

Hope any of you that come down have a good time. Just so you know the ISU game this year is our 100th homecoming celebration and there will be a large crowd around town. Homecoming is always big at Mizzou and this one being the 100th it is expected to be huge. At this point from what I understand the game is already almost sold out with only Hill/General Admission tickets left.

For those that make it down here are some popular places around Columbia.

If you are interested in tailgating here is a helpful site for people who haven't been here before.
Mizzou Tailgating Unleashed!

As for how you will be treated - As long as you aren't wearing jayhawk or cornhusker gear and don't act like a **** you should be just fine (might not want to wear any longhorn gear either the way things have been going). Other than maybe a drunk college kid or two you all should find everyone very friendly.

Hope any of you that make it down have a good time. I went to the ISU/MU game with some other Mizzou friends last year and other than freezing at the tailgate we had a great time and the cyclone fans were very easy to get along with. My only regret is we didn't get a chance to explore Ames. Just the area around the stadium.
