It is lipscomb, he probably had relations with another student.

If the school has chastity rules, if you don't like them and don't intend on following them, then don't go to school there. There are plenty of schools in this country that don't care how many partners you sleep with on a Saturday night, go to one of those if getting around means that much.

in all seriousness...Could he walk on? I know the people on here that claim to be superior will say they don't want him, but he could probably help.

If the kid is a senior as previously indicated, probably not.

I don't have a problem with any of that code of conduct. I've functioned easily with that sort of thing.
Playing poker in the den, back in the day, was the primary activity during our houses down time. Good old Otopalik ....... rest in peace.

You cannot drink at Lipscomb -- or do much of anything --- OUCH tough code of conduct -- http://campuslife.lipscomb.edu/Uploads/10832.pdf

Here at Lip scum, we refuse to let you have fun. Enjoy.

Like I said, don't like it, don't go there. If it is a code of conduct issue, it's not like he didn't know the code of conduct, he chose to ignore it and do what he wanted.

Just like this BYU discussion we had last year, it's not like they're hiding their beliefs and standards, they're right out there and are known when you agree to go to school there. Don't like the code of conduct? Go somewhere else where they let you have more "fun".

i like how you put fun in quotes. As if partying and banging isn't fun.

Anybody else catch the search and seizure clause in the code of conduct? I can understand the university housing a little bit but student vehicles on or off campus? That seems a like overstepping just a tiny bit.

Let's just say -- as a high school senior, I would not have applied to lipscomb.

His parents are pretty churchy (nothing wrong with that) so they might have persuaded him to go there.

This is the correct answer.

Does Lipscomb have strict school rules? I'd be disappointed if he's getting kicked out over some BYU level, hooking up with your girlfriend violation. Hopefully it was somethin' bad *** and worth the ejection.

Why? I have absolutely no problem with what BYU did. The guy violated the code of conduct that he knew was in place and suffered the consequences. Nobody forced him to go to BYU. If sex was that important to him he should have gone to another school that doesn't have a policy about no sex until marriage. If you agree to go to a school you abide by their rules, I don't care how irrational they may appear to the public, especially if they're paying for your education. Otherwise go somewhere else.
