Seneca was an incredible player but also made some really dumb throws. I think his senior year he had 23 ints, including 5 against Kansas State. I think I'd take Meyer because he is better with the ball, however I would like to see Seneca chucking a few passes in Blythe's direction

I think Meyer has generally shown more poise, leading 4th quarter comebacks against Baylor, KSU, and Army. Also, for every jaw dropping play Seneca made, he made alot of ill-advised plays. Meyer seems to play smarter ball, and I think as a passer has a more a complete game than Seneca. He definitely throws a lot less interceptions. Seneca is definitely the better athlete, and i don't see Meyer making as many highlight reels by any means. However, I see Meyer having a higher winning percentage, and I care a hell of a lot more about that than a highlight reel.

If we a talking about college talent, Seneca was the best QB Iowa State has ever had. Amundson, Hardaway, Stanley, Archer, and Sage were good, and some probably better NFL talent, but Seneca has been the only one where I looked forward to third down. Enough said.
