omfg how many times does this have to be hashed out? There's only one dot to connect. If he graduates from Yuba or not.

This. I don't know how people still can't figure this out. It wouldn't matter if he dropped out of high school his freshman year and never graduated. As long as he gets his AA from a community college, he's NCAA eligible. This isn't a Diallo situation. That's why he went to a community college in the first place.

I've heard there's more to it than just the AA

Unless the process has changed from 12 years ago when I went from a community college to ISU, I don't know what it would be, unless you're insinuating improper handling, in which case, that'd be the first I've really heard of that, outside of people talking out of their ***.

Someone on another site who has good access to info said that there may be a Diallo like process beyond just AA = Automatic eligibility. I don't think it's handling related or anything like that. More academic in nature.

I'm not insinuating there is a high risk of him not clearing. It just sounds like there may be more involved than your average juco transfer.

I just don't know what it'd be. An AA wipes out any high school issues. The only possible thing would be if his grades are barely good enough to get an AA and don't meet ISU's academic standards, although I don't even know if that would matter.

Edit: though I suppose you'd have to have a minimum GPA to be eligible to play, I'd think that wouldn't be in effect except for your ISU grades.

Tinsley was let in after he graduated from CC so assuming Malou graduates from Yuba I have zero concerns regarding academic issues.

I think there are some concerns about him being eligible but I'm optimistic.
