Unreal that we have had crappy weather three times in a row down here. Oh well, pass me another beer.
Big 12 just needs to find some better located bowl tie-ins. Or maybe Bowls just need to get rid of conference tie-ins period now and just have like a Draft.

Hopefully lots of Cyclones on the road. Watched pep rally, was surprised the place wasn’t overflowing. Maybe people just heading down today.

I have a Tiger Lane pass for tomorrow but I don’t know what time the lot opens.

Memphis is a decent town to host a bowl.

Plenty to do

Not budget busting

Drivable

The festivities are localized

Beale Street is hopping

It’s the weather and the opponents that are not desirable.

But there are a ton of bowls with poor weather and poor opponents.

We are enjoying our time In Memphis.

The Peabody is great. Lobby bar is packed with Cyclones.

Headed to dinner Then Beale Street.

Go Cyclones!

Gus’s Fried Chicken then we stopped next door at Gibson donuts. That place was busy even at 7 pm. Snarfed down a chocolate frosted one. Best dessert ever! They even had fresh made glazed ones. Got a dozen mixed variety go for tomorrow’. $10 for those and a chocolate milk.

It’s unreal how bad the B12 tie ins are. Memphis and Shreveport in particular are just brutal. Hopefully the demise of the PAC 12 means we add a couple new ones.
You could do a lot worse than Memphis. Shreveport? I got nothing.
