boise still has only 1 loss at home. that website shows both home and away losses so they actually are 74-1 at home after tonight

Not true. That link splits out home ans away This one might be easier to read:
Boise State Historical Scores

This only goes back to 1996, instead of 86, but itll do for my point, as there is more than one home loss in that period too.

Home Losses
1996- 6
1997- 3
1998- 3
1999-0
2000-0
2001-1
2002-0
2003-0
2004-0
2005-1
2006-0
2007-0
2008-0
2009-0
2010- 0

Most of their games with any difficulty at all though have been played on the road.

I'm actually excited for the BSU-Hawai'i game next week. If Hawai'i can beat Idaho this week, both teams will be undefeated in the WAC. Although BSU will be heavily favored, Hawai'i has an awesome offense and an opportunistic defense that has started to click in the last three weeks. May be an upset special to watch for, although it will hurt Hawai'i that BSU will have practically two full weeks to plan for the game.

that turf is actually pretty sweet. they just said they had a 73-1 home record since they put it in in 1986. they have no reason to change it if it works that well. too bad ISU was one of those 73 losses

I actually don't think that ISU was technically one of those 73 wins - since the game we played was a bowl game, that technically makes it a neutral field, even if it was Boise's home field.

Probably because they played nobody worth mentioning at home..

Though i do believe thats an incorrect stat, i count a whole lot more losses at home than 1.

All boise state opponents since 1986

So I'm guessing you think Oregon St this year, Oregon last year, and Oregon St in 2006 were all "nobodies"?

Yeah but according to that stat, they are 73-1 since 1986.....

Yeah I heard that too and knew it was wrong right away, there's no way you only play 74 home games in 24 years. I think it was installed in '86 and they are 73-1 in their last 74 games, not just since the blue turf went in.
