The only thing I would add is that KU having Alexander, or not, doesn't really matter much to us if/when we match up as he's ridden the pine a lot of the game minutes with us due to tempo. And he was fairly ineffective (he did get boards) when he was in the game.

Great point.

Would it be crazy to think that our best scenario would be to end up on the same side of the bracket as KU? This likely leaves OU and Baylor on the opposite side, so we only have to see one of them. In that case if we see OU it would be their third game in three days with a short bench. It also likely keeps us away from an opening round game with UT, and potentially away from Baylor completely.

I know they will have the best fan support and they have a great history in this tournament, but it just feels like this season we match up better with KU than we do with OU or BU.

I'll take one of these please:
If Kansas loses out, Iowa State defeats TCU, West Virginia defeats Oklahoma State at home... Iowa State gets the one-seed, Oklahoma two-seed, West Virginia three-seed and Kansas four-seed.

That would be awesome, but the only downside to it is that it would set up an ISU-KU semifinal again instead of a championship game.

Obviously I still want it though, along with the share of the Big 12 title that it would bring.

Depth is a big deal in these tournaments with no rest in between games, which is why it's hard to see OU winning the tournament since they get so little production from the bench. KU and West Virginia have several quality players off the bench.

I don't want any part of Baylor again any time soon. I thoroughly disliked the two games we played against them already.
