BLOG: Thoughts on a busy Saturday in recruiting

Talley was a headcase from what we heard. Weren't there rumors of bad practice habits? I guarantee Talley had the talent to contribute, and he started to at the end of the year some.

Talley is lucky he only got a 7 game suspension instead of being kicked off team. In hindsight he probably should’ve grad transferred for his 5th year.

Yay for Johnson. Been waiting a couple years for our Beverly replacement.

I think people tend to forget how much that sit out year helps. An entire year where workouts, practice, and putting up shots are your top priorities.

Not to mention you get a full year to acclimate to a new environment, campus, and school/social life

Chris, given there is no news coming out of the weekend about Bolton, should we be concerned about that? Did he even make it to Ames? When do we expect to hear something on him?

I'm almost certain that I have seen tweets saying "he is in Ames". No real news other than that though. With this staff, most of the news seems to come from the recruit side unless the announcement is imminent.
