Testifying
Interesting how some coaches just really seem to like us (Drew, Beard, Huggins).
I think it’s also what brought Matt Campbell here. It’s a small town for a giant University, with great fans.
Fans will go thru some awful weather, bad seasons, etc to support our teams. I literally don’t know of any other school in the country that gets as many fans to show up during mediocre to bad years. Then when we get good years you see towns like Kansas City and Memphis just overtaken.

I watched his ALR team during the open practices in Denver in 2016. He runs a very organized practice that requires 100 percent buy-in from his players. He obviously has respect from his guys. It was very impressive.

Probably the second funnest ISU basketball game I've been to was that one in Denver. They couldn't do a thing stop us we were playing so good with Georges just taking over. Nothing will top last year in Lawrence though

Might have been the best game we played all year. I thought we might have trouble with ALR, but we got the best versions of Nader and McKay.

If there is one university in the Big 12 that I have never had any hatred towards it has to be Texas Tech. Happy they got a guy like Beard, and have no problem with them being ranked regularly (as long as they allow us to do that to them every time)

I was disappointed when they let their WBB coach go. Most attractive one in the conference.

It was maybe the calmest I’ve ever been at an ISU basketball because they never ever gave me a reason to think they’d lose.

They had a segment with him during the game, and it looked like ESPN was having some technical difficulties and it was cutting in and out. I'm not sure the context, but it looked like he was being interviewed after their KU or WVU win and he was saying something like how great it felt to be winning these games and then he said something about how he just wanted to have that feeling for one more day. He just seemed to be really enjoying himself, and really happy to be doing what he was doing. It's cool that he can admit that he's enjoying the ride, unlike some coaches who never (seem) to be enjoying themselves, even when things are going well.
