He's a good coach. You always wonder when a guy suddenly springs up at a small school and then moves on quickly, but I think he was a good pick up for them. And a very likeable guy too.
...best starting five in the conference?
I think it’s also what brought Matt Campbell here. It’s a small town for a giant University, with great fans.Interesting how some coaches just really seem to like us (Drew, Beard, Huggins).
Chris Beard, sure. Texas Tech fans make it quite easy for me though.Nice words, hard to root against them for me.
Beard is an OK guy, but doesn't he look just a little like cousin Eddie from Christmas Vacation? Not that it matters.Chris Beard, sure. Texas Tech fans make it quite easy for me though.
I watched his ALR team during the open practices in Denver in 2016. He runs a very organized practice that requires 100 percent buy-in from his players. He obviously has respect from his guys. It was very impressive.
Probably the second funnest ISU basketball game I've been to was that one in Denver. They couldn't do a thing stop us we were playing so good with Georges just taking over. Nothing will top last year in Lawrence though
Watched the replay. He was lunging trying to coach up his players. Knee gave out. Getting old sucks.
BOSCO SAID, "GETTING OLD SUCKS."What did you say?
If there is one university in the Big 12 that I have never had any hatred towards it has to be Texas Tech. Happy they got a guy like Beard, and have no problem with them being ranked regularly (as long as they allow us to do that to them every time)
Idk, Bill is pretty darn cuteI was disappointed when they let their WBB coach go. Most attractive one in the conference.
Could you repeat that?BOSCO SAID, "GETTING OLD SUCKS."
But the alternaitve is worse.
Might have been the best game we played all year. I thought we might have trouble with ALR, but we got the best versions of Nader and McKay.
Googled her. Agreed.I was disappointed when they let their WBB coach go. Most attractive one in the conference.
