As Black Friday has turned into Black November, what kind of finds are people seeing?

I was thinking of upgrading the bedroom TV (I’m getting old and can’t see the bottom score line). But the base models are so inexpensive already I haven’t seen anything that’s too much of a deal.

My laptop is about to die and I haven't needed to buy one in 10 years ago.

I heard slickdeals.net isn't as it used to be better (they sold?).

Im looking black Fridays deals on a laptop. I haven't been in the market for awhile so I need to look, I'm looking Asus but maybe try other brands. 17", lots of RAM, don't gaming, media play and media editing.

I'm not on there as much as I used to be so I can't say if its gotten worse.

As far as laptops, have you looked into a Chromebook? They're a good cheaper option depending on your needs.

I've never had a Chromebook but I'd look. Also I don't need touchscreen, I'd never use it so don't need price.

This is what I'm looking.

That will last you another 10 years.

I still frequent Slickdeals.net. I don't think it is as good as it used to be. More sponsored deal type stuff. But that's where the comments come in to tell you if something is good or not. You can still find deals there.

Slickdeals moderators push certain products.
They also get kick backs via links.

Make sure to always check camelcamelcamel OK price history.
This. It’s insane how many companies bump prices a month before Black Friday then lower a smidge so they can so whoa hey lookie here it’s now 30% off! When in reality it’s not at all close to that.

Amazon is particularly guilty of that. I've also noticed that the prime member price for some items is higher than non-prime.

I'm about ready to pull the trigger on an 85" TV. It's way more TV than what was designed for the area, but I think I have the wife's approval. Even the major brands are so cheap now compared to just a few years ago.

I still use slickdeals a lot. I setup my own deal alerts so I get emails when deals for stuff I want come up. Comments section really help to determine each deal.
