I can't say that I feel that sorry for Sean Sutton since he is getting a $2.7 million buyout.

You know, I think I could live pretty well of a $6 million signing bonus

I was unaware of Mac's new nickname! It sounds so old-timey!

Nobody likes losing, but I think 20 wins next year (while possible) is maybe a little out of our reach. Our guard play should be much improved, but we don't have a lot in the way of bigs.

Please Angie when you get old ...well..like...FLAUNT IT!!!!

Cause there ain't nuthing in front of you besides the nursing home and the cemetery!!!! SYIH.....LOL

I have no idea why self would leave a sure thing at KU to try and rebuild a down OSU program. On the other hand, if I was a big time coach and ISU came calling me with a truck load of money I would listen.

Money, Money, Money. And it wasn't too many years ago OSU was in the finals as well.

OSU has a great arena and great fans. Throw in Self is from Oklahoma and went to school at OSU and I'm not sure why he woudn't go. What more does he have to prove? He's got a national championship.

At Kansas he's going to lose a lot of guys. He'll probably have Chalmers and Aldrich to build a team around. Knowing KU fans, now that he won a NC they will expect it all the time now. If he doesn't make the elite 8 or final 4 in the next couple of years you think they will be patient? Get out now, go home and be the most popular coach at OSU with reasonalbe expectations.

They expected it before this tournament, much like Hawk fans expect Big Ten and National Championships.

The real question is will Pickens move on after the first "no" or will he make another run? I have not seen the Self statements or press conference so I'm not sure how definitive he was about staying at KU but I know guys like Pickens usually don't quit after one no.
