20 pts. A game for two seasons is an absolute bust. There are 2nd round and undrafted players that do it all the time. Not production you want from a no. 1 pick or a lotto pick for that matter. Not Bennett’s level bust but on the bust spectrum.

Yeah, no. Picked number 1? No, but he has been a solid NBA guy for a long time. Certainly not bust category. You redraft that 2006 class and he is still east too 10, probably too 5 behind Aldridge, Rondo, Rudy Gay, and Kyle Lowry.

Bust is someone that completely flames out, like not even close to their draft level and production.

Kansas has produced a lot of busts. Wasn’t Thomas Robinson a former no. 3? I remember Cole Aldrich and Jeff Withy were both lottery picks. Just why? Even Wiggins has underperformed as a former no. 1. Only KU player who has done well in NBA is Embiid.

Withey was a late second rounder...Also, when you put that many guys in the NBA you are bound to have some busts. They also have some good rotational guys that got drafted later like Devonta Graham, Morris Twins, Oubre, etc.

Every franchise expects an all star and no. 1. You can find solid rotation guys all through the draft.

You’re right. I must have been thinking of Nick Collison or someone else.

KU's Cliff Alexander would have been a huge bust as a top five pick but the one and done system saved some NBA team a waisted pick.

I think NBA should adopt the MLB style draft. Either after high school, or you have to stay 2 years or something like that.
