It's called discussing a match and something that took place in a match. What a completely different set of wrestlers do has no weight on that.
Fine, discuss it. I’m just discussing it as well.

Yes it does matter what other wrestler do. What as a sport do we want to be called stalling? Do we want to legalize doing absolutely nothing during a match and penalize one of the most active wrestlers in the NCAA for not running back to the center? What exactly are we trying to promote?

You want to discuss it? You admitted you didn't even watch the match before posting. You suck at reading as well. I said how Keck normally takes a quick moment is perfectly fine. Last night the ref seen he was over doing it, ref warned him and he didn't listen and got hit for stalling. What do we want to promote? Guys not listening to the refs warning?. Again NO ONE is saying he isn't one of the most active wrestlers in the entire sport.

Its tough to watch a guy lay on his back while the other wrestler is sitting at the center waiting for him. ive got nothing against keck at all. i like to cheer for him but he pushes the boundries with taking his time

Not exactly sure.
It was definitely more noticeable last night than other times I've watched him and the ref had said something to him earlier in the 3rd about hustling back to center so that was his warning. It wasn't nearly as egregious as some are making it out to be.
I think what got him was the last couple times before he got called he literally got up and walked the edge of the mat for about a third of it before circling back into the center.

Probably the issue with stalling that I hate the most is when the wrestler stall most of the 3rd period and it is pretty obvious and then with 15 seconds left the ref give the stall warning, when they know they aren't going to call a 2nd one

Oh yea, that is awful.

Stalling is really just a broken rule. Can’t get rid of it fast enough.

I’m newish to wrestling. But is wrestling the only sport that penalizes stalling?

These are the guys who did not qualify for Nationals but got an allocation at the weight; I would look at the head to head and conference placement, which Herrera is 2-1 against Runyon and 1-1 against Mora but finished higher than both of them at Big 12's, Herrera should but the rankings may change that
#4Isaac TrumbleNC State
#15Lance RunyonN. Iowa
#23Juan MoraOklahoma
#7Yara SlavikouskiRutgers
#24Harley AndrewsNebraska
He’s for sure after Trumble/Slav, think he has somewhat of a case for Runyon, should absolutely be above Mora/Andrews

The problem is, you don't know what the coaches want to review until the match is stop and the refs ask the coaches. You can always change it to something stupid that would not change the outcome of the match.
They need to change the rule to the "Freestyle brick rule". If you challenge and lose, the other wrestler gets a point. This would stop many BS challenges where coaches are simply trying to get their wrestler reset in the bottom position, or a lung timeout.

Also I just looked at Harley Andrews season results, what has he done to justify being ahead of Herrera even before this weekend?

Kind of bizarre.

The guys on the Varsity app keep saying they awarded a stall point, but the point that made it 4-2 was the escape right?
In the middle of the second period the referee warns Realbuto and Johnson to stay off the figures or the next one would be a stall call.

Realbuto then decides to lock fingers 6 more times with the referee yelling at him to stop. No stall call.
