If that many games are going to be added to ESPNU, Mediacom should just add ESPNU to regular cable. Both Iowa and ISU play on ESPNU and if the BTN is on regular cable why not ESPNU?
And before someone says add the sportspack, I don't have the ability to have digital cable for the house I rent.
I hope we can also reach a deal somewhere other than ESPN. It's cool being on ESPN all the time, but I don't need to know about Nerlens Noel or Kane's father or Monté being the Michigan Mr. Basketball every single game. It's almost painful. Not to mention some of the announcers we get are just stupid as hell. I guess I can get over it though as long as we don't get stuck playing on ESPN3 all the time.
I can't believe we can complain about being on ESPN too much.

Do you think announcers are better on other networks? Yes it sucks hearing the same stories but really what else do they have to talk about.
Yes, but there were several ISU stories that didn't get nearly enough air time during game coverage this year. For example:
*Freshman point guard gets cited for being underage in a bar.
*Senior guard gets reinstated to the team by court injunction and sits on bench rest of his career.
*Senior forward flips off fans while on a non-con road trip.
*ISU fails to land top 10 recruit after appearing to be neck and neck with only one other team.
*Senior guard gouges...
On second thought, maybe the announcers rehashing the same old inocuous stuff game after game isn't really so bad.

For those bummed about losing ESPN3 live for the B12 Network games... if they keep the same policy 30 minutes after the game every ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPNU game is available to archive. For big games I have to watch live but for a lot of other games I just use that as my DVR if I'm busy.
This is a win. It's not like going into a bar and asking for Fox College Sports or CBS Sportsnet and they look at you like an alien. Everywhere has ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU. These 3 networks live, ESPN3.com for archives of all the games, cheap cyclones.tv subscription filling in the gaps. It's great.

Yeah, it sucks that they generally preempt that when you have to watch it on Full Court.
