I suppose ESPN gets to dictate the times also? Which may mean less Saturday afternoon games and more Saturday night games or 11:00 am games?

Hopefully Dish Network will have ESPNU in HD by next season. Rumors are they have reached a deal, but still in SD.

What are these rumors? I thought the contract was finalized last fall and nothing happened on the ESPNU HD front. It's all the result of a ******* match between Disney and Dish.

DISH will make available Disney Junior, Fusion, ESPN Goal Line, ESPN Buzzer Beater, as well as Longhorn Network and the upcoming SEC ESPN Network upon its launch. In addition, DISH, ESPN and ESPN Deportes customers will have access to the live and video-on-demand channel ESPN3.

As part of the agreement, DISH will launch ESPNEWS, ESPNU, Disney Channel and ABC Family in high definition. ESPN Classic will be reintroduced as a video-on-demand channel.

No, Fox has no rights to Big 12 men's basketball.

Through all the realignment ridiculousness, we always had Doug Bell on Saturday afternoons to talk Big 12 (and formerly Big 8) basketball. Lots of memories from my childhood of great games on the Big 12/8 Network. While hopefully we'll have better national exposure now, I'm gonna miss it.

I hope that ESPN will retain some of the Big 12 Network talent and use them for Big 12 games once the Big 12 Network is done. I agree, it was nice to have a dedicated Big 12 show.
