Big 12 Network Saying Hoiberg Will Be The Next Timerwolves Coach.

Living in Mpls I have heard rumors that after Adelman leaves Fred would be the first choice to replace him. I have also heard rumors that Flip Saunders maybe setting himself up to be the next coach (he recently gave up his GM duties and his old Wizard contract payout may now be up). My hope was always that Fred would stay until his kids were out of high school, possibly even coach his boys in college at ISU. Finger are crossed that Flip takes over for Rick A. for a few years. After Fred accomplishes everything he wants to at ISU he can make the jump to the NBA if he even wants to at that point.

This would make sense. Certainly hope Fred gets on the phone to all his recruits and makes sure they know. Everyone else is immaterial.

I find it astounding that this thread has reached thirteen pages based on the off-hand comments of one so-called analyst. Amazing.

Of course, about half of the posts are funny/strange dog or cat videos, so.....carry on CF.....
