Just saw the same email. It is tempting. I am wondering what resale options would be if I wind up not being interested in going, aka ISU isn't playing in it. This might make the kick in the nuts that's bound to happen hurt even more.

Particularly without the OU/UT fan bases making the short trip to Dallas.

Hate to say it but without Texas & Oklahoma I don't know if the demand for tickets will be that tough to get come December.

U got to think Utah fans will travel but if it is a UCF vs KU matchup you might get in for $10.
Ute fans will travel well but don't think like they did for the Pac 12 Title game in Vegas. Even if it say K-State & Oklahoma State I still don't see them filling up 80,000 seat Jerry World.

the Big 12 Championship game when it hasn't involved OU or Texas in some capacity has involved TCU or Baylor, two small private schools with small fan bases.

If Iowa State matched up with Utah, Oklahoma State, K-State, Kansas, or Texas Tech for example, the demand would definitely be there....we were so robbed of our 2020 experience.

Another thing to consider is the winner of the conference game will get a bye and have to play their first playoff game at a neutral site. Not different than previous years where a bowl game would happen but I do wonder if it dampers fan traveling and having to pick one or the other especially by fans of teams who could make deep runs.

You’re looking at Arlington then either LA, Phoenix, New Orleans, or Atlanta. Win there and it’s Miami or Arlington again. Then back to Atlanta. That’s a lot of travel for fans in 1 month.

The only tickets being offered are in the 400 level, mostly on the ends for $99 with some on the sideline ends for $115 or $135. No thanks.
