IMO, it should be either 6 or 7, so not too surprised. I feel like it should be set at 7.5, but I'm biased. For me, 7.5 would be the number I'd have the toughest time betting on.

I had it tabbed at 6.5 ... I'm guessing when some more mainstream books come out that's where it will be. 7 seems too high - gotta think nationally - 6, with our knowledge of the team - seems too low.

I assume this is regular season wins only, right? So last year we won 7. I'm just not sure we'll do worse than last year. Obviously it can happen, we all know that, but I just think we'll be more talented overall as a team this year, and the Big 12 is losing some talented players (like Baker Mayfield, although we had no trouble beating him last year anyway!).

In gambling perception means more than actual facts. We could be in the pre season top 10 and be tabbed at 7-8 wins with our reputation.

We were projected 5.5 wins last year, keep in mind these do not include bowl games.

Bowl games count, I believe. But I can’t totally remember.

No. Bowl games and post season never count on preseason over/under numbers.

If I had to guess right now I'd say 7-5 again but I do not think 8 is out of line. Hell, should have won 9 last year.
