I'm not sure where I'd put them overall, but a few I'd add would be:

- Eric Draven - Brandon Lee (The Crow)
- Rorschach - Jack Haley (Watchmen) -- Pretty basic costume, but I always thought the mask was so cool.
- Judge Dredd - Karl Urban (Dredd)
- Harley Quinn - Margot Robbie (Suicide Squad) -- Maybe a bit of a stretch to qualify as a "hero", but daaaaaamn....

Truthfully, I thought about adding Dredd, because you are right, that Karl Urban look was pretty awesome. Talk about an underrated movie too. However, I just debated whether he is technically a Superhero or not. He definitely is a comic book character. In the end, I was about 50-50 to add him or not. So, if he is, he would have snuck on towards the end of my list.
As for Harley Quinn, she got left off simply because while she plays a hero sometimes, she is mostly a villain. However, if she was a hero, she would definitely make my list and fairly high up too at that.
Lastly, I've never seen The Crow.

Yeah, I understand. It's a stretch to call any of the characters I mentioned a "hero", really. They're all definitely on the darker side of things.

I'd call Dredd in the hero category I guess, but probably just not the superhero category. He is more just one sweet looking tough cop/judge. Again, these lines are really hazy, so I wouldn't fault anyone for including him.

If people aren't going to post their own lists, I'd like to at least hear who people have as their #1, or even top 3.

"Rocketeer" had me puzzled. I was confusing it with 1950 tv serials. His helmet wasn't much more than an upside down waste basket and baggy underwear would have been better as his superhero costume which was something one would have worn to a construction job. It was nowhere as good as the Flash Gordon Roman Legion outfits. So I did a minimum of research and found the wikipedia article on the "Rocketeer" which had a cool art deco poster with an updated costume. I'll let you have that because I'm a nice guy.

Is Wonder Woman a superhero since she's a god? I know it's picky, but I have thought about that a little since seeing the movie last week. I guess the same could be said for Star Lord.

While he's more of a Demi-God in the MCU than the full-on God from the comics and Norse Mythology, a similar discussion could be had for Thor.
