Walmart used to have a little corner ice cream shop on the Bentonville square next to the Sam Walton museum that was designed to have a 50's/60's ice cream shop atmosphere and sold cones and shakes at nearly 50's/60's prices. When we'd go to farmer's market, I'd always stop and get a lemon icebox cone which is my go-to favorite.

Bros have you tried the new Dough for It at Cold Stone? Not only cookie dough chunks, but ACTUAL cookie dough mixed into the ice cream itself. Fatty's dream.

I can’t have dairy but like ice cream. Best alternative I’ve found is a vanilla coconut milk brand at Hy-Vee. The vanilla and coconut go extremely well with a drizzle of the Hershey version of Magic Shell.

I was just looking at this at Hy-Vee, and this caught my eye while I was perusing the ice cream aisle. I did not take the plunge, but next time I will. I wonder if I can get it with a side of Ginger and Mary Ann? :)

I think Crooked Lake Creamery Ice Cream is only sold through a shop in a YMCA/Community Center in the northern Twin Cities Suburbs and at small community fairs. This flavor is absolutely terrific.

Neopolitan is just nasty.

And I've only been a couple times but Cold Stone Creamery doesn't do it for me. My last visit last summer - I had a coupon for 1/2 price and ended up throwing away over half of it.

Did you make sure to eat the half that was free or the half that was full price? :)

Spumoni all day! But it's nearly impossible to find.
I found some Spumoni at a Jewel/Osco store in Normal, Illinois about 3 weeks ago. I don't remember the brand but it was good.
