For me it was the Virginia game back in 04-05. This was a very exciting and loud game.

Started going to games with my dad when I was 3, which would have been 1986. Had season tickets all the way through high school. Way too many games to call out just one, but I will never forget the night that Hilton actually moved, which was the Okie State game.

5. Virginia game
4. Fizer's dunk over Mihm
3. Winning the BigXII regular season and trophy presentation
2. Beating Texas and Boddicker's two missed free throws
1. The reason I am a fan, a random game when I was 3 or 4 in the upper deck shouting "Veeeee" for Victor Alexander

ISU over Kansas and Danny Manning the year they won the title. Loudest I've ever heard, and if I recall, we beat them by 10 or so.

I barely remember that game (wasn't that old). I was there with my mom (dad was sick so I took his place) and I remember the PA announcer shouting "that's a foul" into the mic on accident on a D. Manning uncalled foul.

Game against Texas Tech on February 12, 2005. This was when Bobby Knight was coaching them and they were ranked #16 at the time. Our guys (Stinson, Blalock, Staple, Homan and Clark) were down 24-10 with 10 minutes left in the first half. Stormed back to tie the game at halftime and then ended up beating them by 13 behind Homan's 23 points.

It was a packed house because of Bobby Knight, I would think, and the atmosphere was electric during that run to tie it up before halftime. It was awesome.

Iowa State vs. Kansas in 2003-2004. I sat behind the basket, front row. One of the loudest game ever.

Every game during Fizer & Tinsley era. Hilton was ALWAYS packed then.

I was fortunate enough to attend ISU from 1995-2000. Can't single out one game from that era...

Back in the days Norm Stewart and Billy Tubbs were still coaching, we used to have some amazingly loud games. That one year Oklahoma came to town and they were ranked 1 or 2 and we won the game. The players commented that the baskeball floor was shaking when they were shooting free throws because it was so loud.

I've been to almost every home game and all the big wins over the last 40 years and for sustained noise I'd pick LaFester's Rhoads 53 point game against the squawks when we won something like 103-101. There have been others close but it was scary loud almost the whole second half as the teams sea-sawed back and forth, and LaFester couldn't be stopped.

For me it was no doubt in 2000 vs Texas when Fizer dunked over Mims to clinch the big 12 title that was an unreal enviroment and i was only 8 at the time!

That was my first ever basketball game. It was a great introduction to Hilton Magic.
