For me it was the Virginia game back in 04-05. This was a very exciting and loud game.
ISU over Kansas and Danny Manning the year they won the title. Loudest I've ever heard, and if I recall, we beat them by 10 or so.
That was my first ever basketball game. It was a great introduction to Hilton Magic.I've been to almost every home game and all the big wins over the last 40 years and for sustained noise I'd pick LaFester's Rhoads 53 point game against the squawks when we won something like 103-101. There have been others close but it was scary loud almost the whole second half as the teams sea-sawed back and forth, and LaFester couldn't be stopped.
