The most important things that I see in this are:

Guys that are out there fighting for everything, every snap

Way more explosive plays that ISU has had for several years

A lot of young guys getting experience

Biggest concern is the play of the OL. Yes they are pretty young, but they are also pretty bad, not only getting overpowered, but routinely whiffing on blocks. Until ISU can get good enough to be able to consistently run the ball the team will not be able to put together drives and make first downs.

Sadly we have heard this for years. Even with 3 NFL guys at the same time! (Osemeli, Hicks and Bykowski). Even with not so great QB play you should be able to have a decent offense with those guys on the roster. I will say it again, this coaching staff is full of offensive ineptitude.

This is true but did you happen to notice how many great catches the TT wideouts made? That QB only had to get the ball in the vicinity and it was hauled in. Sure would be nice to have that luxury across the board like TT seems to have. IMO, this is what made the difference in the game. The receivers made that QB look good (along with our inability to sustain a consistent pass rush, of course).

Oh, come on. The only thing even close to any sort of missed catch was Gary not catching a tough one. For the most part, if the balls catch-able, our guys get it.

Good thing you qualified this. Otherwise, a retraction might be in order.
