Slow sports day..I like that these two teams legitimately don't get along. Should be a very emotional game..probably a few stupid 15 yard penalties too.

Brandon Marshall of Chicago Bears says rematch vs. Green Bay Packers is personal - ESPN Chicago

Jermichael Finley of Green Bay Packers says Chicago Bears better without Brian Urlacher - ESPN Chicago

Lance Briggs of Chicago Bears says Jermichael Finley of Green Bay Packers is an idiot - ESPN Chicago

Recap:

Marshall: "I really dislike the Green Bay Packers and their players."

Finley: Bears are better without Urlacher's slow old ***

Briggs to Finley: You're an idiot.

And there's still 3 days left til kickoff. Things heating up quickly.

I kinda agree with both these statements.

I give you a half-like. He's more of a leader/coach out there than anything now. He doesn't bring as much physically, but still important. Fully agree on Finley. haha

Yes, he's a great leader; I was really surprised how the Bears D played at a high level with their injuries.

As a Bears fan I cant disagree with anything above. I dont know if the Bears are better without Urlacher but he is definately in decline.

I'm hoping that all of this trash talking is going to get the Bears to come out fired up. Rodgers is 7-2 including playoffs against the Bears and with the current slide a promising season is once again headed down the drain unless they can turn things around in this game.

Lovie is likely coaching for his job these last three games.

Anyone hear the Chicago sports analyst on Miller and Brinson yesterday?(yeah, I know I know, that show smells of elderberries) He basically ripped Marshall as not knowing crap about the tradition of the Bears/Packers rivalry, and that he should just keep his mouth shut.

I heard it, David Caplan (sp) covers all things Chicago sports and he is pretty brunt with both the positive and negative.

I dont have a problem with it. Im glad Marshall dislikes (I wont use the word hate) the Packers. I think he was responding to the trash talk of the Packers from after the first game this year when they were talking about how the shut Marshall down and how Cutler is going to make mistakes, just have to give him time. (Both actually pretty true statements to be fair)

As a Packers fan, Finley is probably my least favorite player on the team as he always seems to be running his mouth and has been consistently underwhelming with his play the last few years. I think the rest of the Packers will be smart enough to keep their mouths shut for the rest of the week and see how it plays out on the field. The Bears players really don't have much trash to talk, IMO. The "Jay-Rod" (Culter vs. Rodgers) rivalry has been dominated by the Packers since Cutler has been with Chicago (7-1 GB including playoffs). Let's see you beat us a few times before you run your mouths Bears.

Huge game on Sunday for both teams. Packers on the verge of clinching, Bears fighting for their life. It's good to have games that have a lot on the line (NFC Championship, Packers beat Bears at Lambeau last game of 2010 to clinch playoff spot, and Sunday's game). Games like these help fuel the fire. Love it.

And of course, GO PACK GO!

That is the plan.. Hopefully the O-line protects Cutler well enough to keep him in this one. You do know that your 7-1 record of "Cutler vs Rodgers rivalry games" also includes some wins over McCown and Hanie right? The packers have a good enough record against Cutler, you don't need to pad the stats with games played by Josh freaking McCown. Is it spelled "McCown"? I'm not sure, I just know that he is awful.

We'll see if the rest of them can keep their mouths shut..I'm not convinced. There's still a few loud mouths yet to be heard from this week.

"He has seven touchdowns and 16 interceptions while posting a 53.1 passer rating in going 1-6 against the Packers as a Bear." - Culter's career stats vs Green Bay via the game preview on ESPN.

Even when you do take Hanie and McCown out of the equation, Cutler has been pretty bad against GB his whole career. I think it's safe the say the Packers have his number right now. There's a reason Charles Woodson called him "same old Jay" after he threw 4 INT in their first game this year.

Bears vs Packers is by far my favorite historical rivalry. Both teams have absolute legends to be proud of. I'm a huge Bears fan, but I see the Packers winning Sunday by at least 10.

Bears are a 3 pt dog. Should be a good game, with plenty of stupid personal fouls that will make fans of both teams want to pull their hair out.
