Those go back to the Reebok days. Isn't Adidas a subsidiary of Reebok?
Haters gonna hate, I guess. Is adidas taking a bunch of flack for the uniforms? Yes, but go ask the adidas team stores how they like them. The uniforms and styles are flying off of the shelf and they cannot keep the product around for very long.
A bunch of years ago the Nike "System of Dress" was looked down upon as being too trendy and 'ugly'...... now look at it..... it is the norm.
We live in different times than we did 2-3-5 years ago- new fabrics are being introduced, new styles are being introduced, companies are more and more innovative. At some point, when adidas came to these schools and asked them if they wanted to partake in the new uniforms, somebody had to say "yes, we will wear these". So if everybody hated the uniforms they would be on the cutting room floor right now.
Notre Dames tonight :wideeyed: NCAA needs to step in and say enough is enough

u mean the guys that made these amazing uniforms?
I liked the Baylor jersey, but the shorts and sleeves are terrible.
I agree the others look really bad. However, like them or not, they help with recruiting. It gets people talking about the institution (good and bad) and high school kid's eyes light up seeing the "cool" jerseys. When watching a tournament game last night, there were multiple high school aged kids in the stands with Oregon apparel. Bright green and yellow. The crazy designs spread the brand.
These aren't just showing up on the bball court. Take a look at what the kids are wearing to the gym. All the college kids I see at my gym wear a lot of neon too. Though the green sherbert of notre dame was fugly.
Neon and camo are in right now. They were also in 1987. Won't last long.
