Haters gonna hate, I guess. Is adidas taking a bunch of flack for the uniforms? Yes, but go ask the adidas team stores how they like them. The uniforms and styles are flying off of the shelf and they cannot keep the product around for very long.

A bunch of years ago the Nike "System of Dress" was looked down upon as being too trendy and 'ugly'...... now look at it..... it is the norm.

We live in different times than we did 2-3-5 years ago- new fabrics are being introduced, new styles are being introduced, companies are more and more innovative. At some point, when adidas came to these schools and asked them if they wanted to partake in the new uniforms, somebody had to say "yes, we will wear these". So if everybody hated the uniforms they would be on the cutting room floor right now.

I heard the new Adidas uniforms were made by child slaves.... Slaves to fashion!!!

But they are children, so it's probably not OK.

I had my eyes dilated for an eye appointment yesterday around 3:30, I thought I would wake up blind today.

I liked the Baylor jersey, but the shorts and sleeves are terrible.

I agree the others look really bad. However, like them or not, they help with recruiting. It gets people talking about the institution (good and bad) and high school kid's eyes light up seeing the "cool" jerseys. When watching a tournament game last night, there were multiple high school aged kids in the stands with Oregon apparel. Bright green and yellow. The crazy designs spread the brand.

u mean the guys that made these amazing uniforms?

Well, wasn't that a team decision - they wanted a uniform design that copied their original uniforms to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the franchise?

Mrs. Velo stopped by while I was watching highlights and she just about threw up on the family room floor when she saw Baylor's uni's. I think her quote was something like "what were they thinking?".

I love most of the crazy jerseys. I even like Baylor's highlighter jerseys. This camo thing though is just horrendous.

Camo is right up there with whatever Maryland is doing with their black and yellow, red and white...thing they have going on.

These aren't just showing up on the bball court. Take a look at what the kids are wearing to the gym. All the college kids I see at my gym wear a lot of neon too. Though the green sherbert of notre dame was fugly.

Neon and camo are in right now. They were also in 1987. Won't last long.

I've loved neon since birth. I was also born in 1987.
