I just felt like stealing Clones21's thunder for this one. We're 48 hours and 25 minutes away so let's get this party started!

75-68 ISU wins.

Iowa State runs them by 15. Shortly after I'll go running up and down Welch with my pants off, in glory. <-- By this point I'll most certainly be drunker than a peach orchard boar.

No prediction yet, but keys to the game:

Patience on offense- get the open shots

Defensive rebounding- keep them off the boards

Defense, defense, defense

Do those things, and we win.

I haven't seen Baylor a ton this year, but my general impression is that they win when they are more talented than the competition, and lose when they aren't (or are even). They have a ton of talent, but it's like a team of individuals. Maybe that is how Drew gets the recruits he does? Just brings in talent and lets them do their own thing?

I think the Clones win. ISU starters only played 30 mins or less in win over aTm. We'll be rested, confident, and ready to go against a top 15 (after new poll) team.

I think we match up with them pretty well with Percy Booker, Royce. Jones wants absolutely nothing to do with any sort of contact. Booker can drag him to the perimeter and wear him down. We need our guys to be HOT from deep and run a lot of motion stuff to lose them, they arent the fleetest of foot. In fact lets jsut take the Mizzou gameplan and go small. Royce, Tyrus, Magee, Scottie, and Allen. Shoot the lights out and we win 76-62.

Maybe it's a coincidence, but a lot of our losses and games we've struggled early in come on the weekdays rather than Saturday. I think there's something to that. With the short turnaround, we come out flat, and get down by 10 early, and can't get over the hump in the 2nd half. 71-66 Baylor. :(

I wish we could have two McGee's.

We are either going to lose a close game or shred their "2-3 zone" into pieces. I use quotes because that's the worst "zone" defense I've seen in a long time. I don't really see us getting blown out unless they kill us on the boards but they killed Mizzou on the board today and still lost.

They will be in zone so we probably won't run too much motion stuff. More about spacing and finding the high post and distributing. Would love to see Royce at high post with his vision, passing, and driving ability.

I think it will be a close game but will be tough to get a win there. I won't be anywhere close to a ledge if we do not win,but hope it is at least fairly close if that's the case.I noticed we are now listed as one of two big wins for UT, so I think we need to finish out winning at home and maybe get one on the road.If we do that I'll be pretty excited come March. I still think we get at least a win in the B12 tourney, although that's when every team seems to really put out their best effort.

Win the rest at home with one road win = lock.
