My wife was a student athlete at Iowa. I do care about women's athletics and equity in coaching.

Cool story. I am all for equality and frankly don't care if its a man or a woman who gets hired if they are qualified.

It seems like schools are always following Pollard's moves

You really think other programs are just copying isu and following the isu lead? Wait isu cut pay for AD personnel and Iowa didn’t. How is that copying isu?

This coming from someone who never goes to games anyways....

I have six season tickets for football. Haven’t missed a Bowl game since the 83 Gator Bowl. Only 2 season tickets for MBB and Wrestling.

I don't really care how Iowa handles it as there is probably no perfecty way.

The way I understand it is if you are a current season ticket holder that chooses not to renew in 2020 but want to in 2021, Iowa is giving you your regular priority points for 2020 as if you bought season tickets but not guaranteeing your seats will be available in 2021.

That's shady as hell

I'm not a season ticket holder so don't have any clue what you are talking about. Having said that, I doubt ISU or any stadium this fall will be able to have games with 50% capacity. This screams like a marketing pitch to entice more Cyclone fans to buy season tickets.

Noted. This will be a fun bump

I think this is a dicey subject in general but that's a strong accusation.

For what? I doubt there will be fans at football games this fall. Don't think that is out of line with how things are looking right now. I just want there to be a season and the rest is all gravy.

I think there will be 30k at JTS and you will look like a complete tool for saying it was a marketing ploy

I'm not following that. It is Pollard's job to try and sell tickets especially in these times. There is nothing wrong with that at all.

I'm sure there is strong chance that it's still a fluid plan, but the fact there has been pen to paper and trying to be fair to the fans, is a good thing IMO.
