I think we'll miss his defense most.
I agree - Babb's the only wing/guard right now who's playing any D. I agree that his body language is off-putting, but he's very important to our success. Hope he can get back soon - just hope Prohm doesn't go back to playing him 40 minutes a game. Low 30s seems about right - same for Shayok.

Assuming Babb is OK, he needs to start. I'd leave Wigginton in too; would bring TH off the bench. He's been invisible for a while and seems to have hit the freshman wall. Still play him quite a bit but change things up.

Babb and TH are the guys you can count on to keep ISU in the game. They don't turn it over, they keep others involved and they don't take bad shots. If Babb is out, I hope this means that TH is back to playing 40 minutes like he was earlier in the season before LW returned.

To me it is pretty simple: the worst lineup (of all most common ISU lineups) is the Babb-less lineup of Shayok, Tyrese, Talen, Jacobson, & Lindell with an efficiency margin of -0.255.

Unfortunately, this team hasn't really shown it can play effectively without Babb. Babb gets a lot of criticism, but it seems like there are too many people who fail to recognize how important he is to this team.

Of all players, I would be quite surprised if Babb does not start or get starter minutes when fully healthy.
I didn’t say Babb should stay on the bench. Only it would be odd if Prohm sits LW again when Babb comes back. Could be someone else. Up till now, no one’s gotten their starting spot back after an injury or suspension.

I guess it depends on how much egos are affected by who starts because I don’t see minute distribution changing too much at this point in the season- especially between the guards.

If a player get starter level minutes and finishes games, should they care about starting.

If LW does become a starter it would seem most logical for Haliburton to come off the bench.

It's too bad for NWB, but he has been hurt for most of his ISU career and just played through a lot of it. Other guys are just going to have to step up and play. There are a few capable players on this team that have under performed so far this year. This is your chance, take advantage of it.

Even if Lard is back, I wouldn't mind seeing Conditt get a few minutes in the remaining games. He was working really hard against TX.
