Did anyone else just see him spouting off to the camera? I kinda lost a lot of respect for him after that display of sportsmanship...

He's the fastest man alive, he can do whatever the **** he wants as far as I'm concerned. I actually kind of like it that he's got some spunk to him.

If I was the best in the world at something and got to show it off in front of billions, I would have a hard time staying humble too. **** it, I'd rub it in everybody's face.

so because he's good gives him a right to be a total d bag? give me humility any day

The guy just won a gold medal and you expect him to act like nothing happened? If you notice, all runners celebrate after they've just won a race.

Celebrating after a win does not make him or anyone else a *********.

He did cut an interviewer off to stand in silence in respect of the US national anthem.

Usain Bolt Interrupts Interview To Honor American Anthem

A classy move in my book

Agreed. I hadn't seen that yet, I guess he gets a few brownie points back haha.

I get what everyone's saying, "being the fastest man alive, I really don't care what he does" I'm kind of in that boat too to an extent.

But if Phelps was doing that would it still be ok? Maybe I'm just a little too old fashioned and like seeing the athletes take a little more humble stance.

Obviously people celebrate winning a gold. Not everyone finds the nearest camera to declare that they are unbeatable now and always will be.

Just not a fan of that kind of arrogance is all.

Yeah, I'm guessing "humility" hasn't been your stance for the 44 golds that USA has won, because it's not as if our men and women have been humble during their celebrations.

wow. Brasil just won the gold medal in volleyball and they're jumping up and down on the court with the Brasilian flag. They should be more humble.

Tomorrow when we win gold in basketball, the celebration better be nothing more than handshakes.

It ain't arrogance if you back it up and he's backed up everything he's said. The man is a freak he does things nobody else can. They changed the lineup in the olympics because of him so he has a right to think he's a ledgen because he is

No man has ever won back-to-back 200m runs before this year. And he's won back-to-back 100m and 4x100s on top of that. If the man wants to call himself a legend, I'm not going to stop him, and I'm not going to call him arrogant for doing so, either.
