Does the number for ISU include seat donations to purchase seats or is that just outside moneys that people are donating to the university? If so, are the other schools also figured the same way.
I believe this is NCC and nothing to do with the Foundation......they raise $180-$225 million per year.Does the number for ISU include seat donations to purchase seats or is that just outside moneys that people are donating to the university? If so, are the other schools also figured the same way.
Unfortunately, because of privacy laws and the fact that these 18-22 year old kids aren’t pro athletes, they aren’t going to be able to market them as “so and so drove this”Not only buy them back, but then turn around and recoup some of the money if say someone like a Brock Purdy or Breece Hall from Utah was the one that drove the truck for a year or two. I would think there would be a market out there for a big Utah fan that would love to drive the vehicle from one of their star players and would be willing to pay more to do so.
The article says total value, but it also said they are just leasing the trucks for the players, not purchasing them. That would bring the cost down quite a bit.
If only Benson Motors was still around. I was with the man for his 80th birthday Sunday. He would've taken care of these boys.Unfortunately George White's Business Manager is a big Hawkeye fan. Great guy, but I'm guessing he would not be on board with We Will.
this make me so sad :'(
They will sell them as used trucks. Still a great opportunity for a dealer however, the liability is a HUGE potential downsideEasy racket for the dealership in the current vehicle market. Lease it out, bring it back in and sell it for a touch over invoice, make a small profit there plus whatever back-end dollars and I would bet there's some sort of marketing opportunity as well. Someone large like Karl should be considering this for ISU while the market is at where it's at. Almost no downside.
My bad. I just assumed with knowing that the staff usually drive Fords that they weren't. My apologies to the George White team.Ummm the Whites are HUGE supporters of Iowa State.
Makes it seem like Brent's goal of 2,000 recurring We Will donors a pipe dream unfortunatelythis make me so sad :'(
But the weird thing is, a lot of those numbers don't make sense.Makes it seem like Brent's goal of 2,000 recurring We Will donors a pipe dream unfortunately
That money would have been donated to secure their Cyclone Club membership, which definitely makes them donors. But the weird thing is, a lot of those numbers don't make sense.
My parents for example, not really donors per say, but they donated over 1000 dollars to get good/decent parking spots for football. Would they not count towards that donor list?
That is what I am wondering, WV was at 15 million, Cin. at 14 million and ISU only at 11 million, but what is figured into that number? Is it just from people giving that money to NIL or is that also people that gave $2500 to purchase four seats and another $100 for parking? EIU has a large donor base income, but they are also not allowed to purchase as many tickets for a donation as ISU allows you too. The Sukup club is either $2500 or $5000 for the donation but with that amount you can purchase 4 tickets, at EIU they would only allow you to purchase two tickets for the amount. But the weird thing is, a lot of those numbers don't make sense.

Just will have to settle for being on the right side of history.Unfortunately for you, there is no award that comes with that.
Certainly a combination of both but the first one definitely exists. It likely stems from the horrible football in the 90’s and the idea that the tailgate was often better than the game. But the idea that a parking pass on any paved lot will garner a better price than lower level seats between the 30’s is an Iowa State thing. And that unfortunately bleeds over into NIL and donations for the Cyclone Club. What JP has done to get the Cyclone Club to this level is simply amazing. Collective will need to continue to be innovative. The latter. but we'll shame the fans anyway.
And lets be honest, dealers finding vehicles for players isn't exactly a new thing, even pre-NIL being legal.
And put it in the end zoneMake it a hot tub and rig it so the target is super sensitive to drop you in to keep warm.
I'm not sure where they are getting the Fords, but I do know that the Moffits of Moffit's Ford in Boone are huge Cyclones. My bad. I just assumed with knowing that the staff usually drive Fords that they weren't. My apologies to the George White team.
At one point Stivers Ford had a deal with the university to supply a few vehicles to the athletic department. I’m not sure if they still do or notI'm not sure where they are getting the Fords, but I do know that the Moffits of Moffit's Ford in Boone are huge Cyclones.
And I guarantee the staff can't pull out a win this coming weekend so we're pretty much screwed.Another day without a win...
