Can't just go for it every other week and expect things to turn around.
I'm not 100% sure how they have this lease set up, other than they are 6 month leases. It could be that it is through a leasing company. When this is done the leasing company is listed as the security interest, but the dealer still has to insure the vehicle. Should there be an accident or anything, the dealer would be liable, if they do indeed carry the insurance. I know there are a handful of dealers here in Iowa that do that sort of thing for their employees
Now, i believe i read that the collective is covering the insurance costs, so then maybe they are the ones that could be liable. Naturally, you hope nothing happens, but it makes me wonder
Then that is incredibly sad if our number of donors is that low because my parents don't consider themselves donors. They donate to get something in return.
The insurance was provided for the vehicles, so I really don't see any more liability here for the dealership in this deal than on any other lease.
If I lease a vehicle and get into an accident, the dealer is not held liable, nor should they be here.

Your parents included, there are something like 6-7000 donors. That's anywhere from $100 to millions I believe. Only 7000 people give even 100 to cyclone club. Say that number is double for people who group together to make donations. Even 14k total "donors" is a very small amount.
From 1-8 last season to 4-1 and tied for 1st place so far this season.

What a turnaround this season has been so far. Probably the best coaching skill so far.
That’s actually easy to answer. Cyclone football is geared to attract and retain athletes who’s primary focus is other than immediate gratification. Matt Campbell’s pitch is preparing young men to be better prepared for their lifelong journey.
I still remember my Labor Econ class decades ago, when I learned that “worker compensation” is much broader than the numbers on a paycheck.
In essence, what ISU primarily offers is compensation other than monetary. The NIL money is just a little extra pocket money on top.
So, it has to do with the character, goals and outlook of the players you’re recruiting in the first place.
This actually has been Campbell’s best coaching season in my opinion.
You may end up being very right about this. It took crappy results since 2021 to produce it. His decision to let go of the offense after Ohio (if true) and to finally get serious about special teams may have opened the parachute.

Sometimes in life you need to admit you are an idiot. You should not be listened to. And you were trying to stir things up to get rid of Campbell. Best Coach in Iowa State history. Such an idiot.
