Arrested Development Movie

Much like Troy Davis was the best college running back that no one had heard of, Arrested Development was the greatest show that no one watched.
I agree - they leave garbage on for forever (see every game/reality show they've had), but kill one of the few truly original comedies of the last several years!
I enjoy David Cross so much - I don't think he's done much since this show got cancelled? Did anyone ever watch "Mr. Show" on HBO? Fantastic show. And I went to see him when he was here a few years ago, and he was just hilarious.
David Cross has been doing a lot of cameo type stuff. He was on Time and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! last year (as the pizza delivery guy) (incidentally, Bob Odenkirk from Mr. Show is quite involved with TaEASGJ). His standup stuff is hilarious, and I very much appreciated his war of words with Larry the Cable guy.
AD is the ultimate sitcom, IMO. I have a hard time believing there will ever be a better sitcom, ever. I was hoping against hope that they would get picked up by showtime or HBO, but a movie wouldn't be all bad either. I think part of what made AD great, though, was the fact that it was a sitcom. I don't know for sure if it would all transfer to a movie, but I'd like to give it a chance.

I loved Arrested Development, have all the episodes on DVD.

They have Arrested Development marathons on G4 all the time. That pretty much shoots the day for me if I stumble across that.
