i didn't go over there, but did you actually think they would be any less confident after that showing against Bama? I'm sure Bama is a different team this year, but I'm guessing that ASU will beat them. Adding Nader and Thomas had an effect last night and our D was atrocious for much of the game. We'll see what happens tonight. None of this will matter when R Kelly, err R Kansas, comes to town.
I don't think ASU beats Bama, and no I don't expect them to feel different after the Bama game, other than how they may now feel about Georges.
You guys absolutely have chance. But with the way we are playing defense The First Church of the Blind Sisterhood has a chance as well.
Niang? Unfortunately ISU is in big trouble if he is the #1 option. The guy is the leading scorer in one of the best conferences in the nation and a certain Wooden Award List Finalist... I just don't know how you win with a guy like that as the #1 option on this team.

When is the last time Wake Forest was actually good? They aren't even a full season removed from a multi-year fan revolt to get their coach fired.
2010 they made the second round, haven't even made the NIT since. Their coach for the last four years came off of that to go 51-76, never surpassing 6-12 in the ACC.
Oh, they definitely aren't very good. I believe Danny Manning said before the game he would play 10 or 11 guys, just to try and get a feel who he could trust and where he stood.
Great leadership there. Doesn't even know who belongs on the floor, has to use a game to get a feel
We should bring Wake Forest to Hilton so Danny Manning can continue his losing streak.
Don't we play @ Arkansas next year? If so we'll beat them in their house too. We'll be even better next year than this year.
No, unless the rules have changed since I last checked. If we had to return the game we would be playing @Auburn this season.

Dont Get me wrong. Iowa State would have a chance. They will be very good. As will Arkansas. I just find this hilarious that 50% of this thread is about how cocky Arkansas fans are and then you post this. Funny. Anyway, I really do think these two teams are good and it should be a great match-up. FYI, I do not believe there is a return game for this. I believe this is simply an SEC BIG 12 challenge game, which will alternate teams, no? Maybe I am wrong on that.

There are cocky Arkansas fans. There are cocky Iowa State fans. The two are not mutually exclusive.
Some of the fans on the Ark board are probably annoying; unfortunately, at least one (intelligence) has made his way over here. I don't care about Ark fans posting on an Ark board and you will be a happier person if you stop caring about what ISU fans post on an ISU board and just ignore the idiots and move on to the good game discussion.
If any annoying ISU fans are posting on the Arkansas boards as well, then you have my apologies.
