Outside of salmonella, it’s the sickest I’ve been in my adult life. It was absolutely brutal and recovery felt like weeks. I slept for like 36 hours straight to kick it off. I didn’t really get around and moving much until like day 5.

I had a fairly bad case of COVID (at least for me, the other two times I've had it was absolutely nothing) followed a couple weeks later by what I think was the flu. I was the sickest I've been in my adult life (which really isn't all that sick). For close to a month I could barely stay up past 6:30. In fact, I'd go to bed at 6:30, sleep until 8:30, be awake until 9 and then sleep the rest of the night. I still have some lingering sinus issues.

And I did have my flu and COVID shots, it must have been a different strain.

Got the shot and didn't get it. Sounded like people that got it had it bad this year. Hope you get over it soon.

It’s been almost two weeks. Never had it this bad. I got vaccine for what that was worth.

Holy crap this stuff is brutal. Normally the flu goes away pretty fast for me. This time I can’t shake it. Just miserable
That sucks. I've had a sinus thing happening for 7+ weeks now. Been on three different meds. Pretty sure it was mostly back sinuses, headaches have been the #1 presenter, drainage has been in back throat, not much up front/nose. Has slowly been getting better but man I'm ready for this thing to get kicked. Part of my morning routine now is checking the barometric pressure every day.

Hope yours gets better soon.

Get well soon!!

Nope, but had an annoying cold last week. All better minus the stray junk.

Usually get my flu shot in October.

Had the same thing. Mine only lasted a little over 3 weeks though. Mornings and evenings I would go through about a half box of tissues. Drainage just wouldn’t stop.

Had a cold that wouldnt go away for like 2 weeks recently. Kind of migrated through the body it felt like. Throat, to nose to lungs, to digestive system.

We were down south in late Jan. when I got hit by the 24 hour flu bug. It started right about the start of the Bills-Chiefs game and lasted till about 4am. When we checked out of the hotel I was worried that the cleaning staff might call the police because the bathroom looked like a crime scene.
