I specifically said my immunization record since I knew I had rubella and mumps. Lady at district office still had no idea if they kept records then but I know they did. Tried to explain I just wanted to know if they retained them and she seemed to have no idea or care enough to find out.
I was born in the 60s and don’t have immunization records. At my checkup a few weeks ago my doctor gave me the MMR vaccine just to be on the safe side. She said there was no harm in doing so.

Supposedly the new guidelines say the pneumonia vaccine should now be given to those 55+ so I got that one also.

My wife and I both had that (probably) over Easter in 2022. It was total hell for both of us, luckily we were at my parents' and they could handle the kiddos. No one in the household got it, thank goodness.
I had norovirus Feb 2024. Do not recommend. I was in bed (or the bathroom) for about 5 straight days and barely ate anything for the first three of those. I lived on Gatorade and Pedialyte -- but not too much at once or it went right back out the way it entered.

But honestly in some ways it was better than cold/flu-type stuff. No cough or stuffed up nose, so napping/sleeping was pretty easy (other than waking up to use the bathroom). Once I figured out not to put much in my stomach at once, I didn't really have nausea. I was just extremely wiped out and in the bathroom every hour or so.

Thanks! I may just do that too. I saw a place on the state website you can order your immunization record so I might try that too. Might chat with my PCP and see what he thinks, whether test me or just give me the shot if I can’t get my records.

My horror was my wife and kids all got it with me. But man cold was not working.

My wife gets the sniffles and her first thing is to get an appointment or go to urgent care right away. Her crutch is “I always get this way at this time of the year.” I keep telling here she needs to see a psychiatrist. She gets mad and I tell her to look in the medicine cabinet. I swear she is a hypochondriac. Our medicine cabinet has about every kind of cold medicine, vitamin, pain reliever, allergy medicine, cream & ointment.

Behind you
Day 5 and very little improvement. Wow never been sick this long without some improvement
Ugh, that sucks. That crap can be so debilitating. I had a thing with my sinuses start up mid-January, lots of sinus pressure and headaches, went through three different meds, and 7+ weeks later I'm still having head pains. It f*cking sucks.
