I don't mind it. I've got a bottle in my bar, and will buy more the next time I'm in Illinois. I offer it to everyone who comes over. It's really not that bad, but the aftertaste is really bitter.

Malort is awful. I was unaware until your post that people existed that don't hate it. I assumed until this point that it was only in bars as a novelty.

I'm pretty sure it got its name from the noise you stomach, nay whole body makes when you've had way too much too drink and the whole party is coming back up in 3. . 2. . what ooops he puked in the pitcher lets serve it back to the drunkest guys in the bar and call it that god awful sound his whole body made.

I've always thought that it's a cult, group-think "MALORT IS TERRIBLE" type thing.

There is much worse tasting liquor out there.

Malort literally tastes like when you're almost puking, but you manage to swallow it back down.

No one likes Malort. I legitimately like a lot of things that I get accused of consuming just to make a show of it and I can't ******* stand Malort.
